Welcome to Subo, developed and operated by Gestalt Labs (KvK: 96617969, VAT: NL005221137B35), located in The Hague, Netherlands.
These Terms of Use explain the additional rules and important information that apply to your use of Subo. The app license itself is governed by Apple's standard end user license agreement (EULA), unless another license agreement is explicitly shown for Subo in the App Store.
1. Using Subo
Subo is designed for personal use to help you track and manage subscriptions, renewal dates, reminders, spending estimates, and related information.
You agree not to misuse the app, copy or redistribute its content, reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, interfere with the app's operation, or use Subo in a way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
2. In-App Purchases
Subo offers optional in-app purchases to unlock additional features:
Non-renewing subscription purchases:
12 months prepaid access to unlimited tracking
Non-consumable purchase:
Forever Pass: a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited tracking for as long as Subo remains available and supported.
All payments, billing, purchase confirmations, Family Sharing availability, and refund requests are handled by Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's applicable terms and conditions.
Subo cannot directly issue App Store refunds. If you want to request a refund, you must do so through Apple using Apple's refund process.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
3. No Subscription Cancellation Service
Subo helps you track subscriptions, but it does not cancel, modify, pause, or manage your actual subscriptions with third-party services.
If you want to cancel or change a subscription, you must do so directly with the relevant provider, such as Apple, Google, Netflix, Spotify, your bank, or another service provider. Marking a subscription as cancelled or ended in Subo only changes your tracking data inside the app.
4. No Guarantee of Accuracy
Subo provides tools to help you manage subscription information, renewal dates, reminders, spending estimates, currency conversions, and related calculations. However, we do not guarantee that the information shown in the app is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for financial decision-making.
You remain responsible for verifying your subscriptions, renewal dates, prices, billing terms, cancellation status, and payment obligations independently.
5. Currency Conversion and Estimates
Subo may use exchange-rate data from third-party services to estimate subscription costs in different currencies. Exchange rates may be delayed, approximate, unavailable, or different from the rates used by your bank, card issuer, App Store, or subscription provider.
Any totals, averages, or converted amounts shown in Subo are estimates only and should not be treated as financial, tax, accounting, or budgeting advice.
6. iCloud Sync and Data
Subo may offer optional iCloud sync through Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services. iCloud sync is managed by Apple through your Apple account.
Gestalt Labs does not operate a Subo server for your subscription data and does not have access to your private iCloud data. You are responsible for your device, Apple account, iCloud settings, backups, and data management.
7. Third-Party Services
Subo may use third-party services to provide certain functionality, such as brand search, logos, currency exchange rates, optional analytics, feedback forms, support links, or external websites.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, privacy practices, or terms of third-party services. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Third-Party Trademarks and Logos
Subo may display logos, colors, names, and other brand information of popular subscription services for identification, template, and informational purposes.
Gestalt Labs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any of these companies unless explicitly stated. All trademarks, logos, names, and brand assets belong solely to their respective owners.
9. Availability and Changes
We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Subo at any time. We may also add, remove, or change features, pricing, supported platforms, third-party services, or availability.
We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee that Subo or any specific feature will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or supported forever.
10. Privacy
Your use of Subo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information Subo collects, how it is stored, and how it is used.
11. Support
We aim to provide helpful support, but we do not guarantee response times, availability, or resolution of every issue.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Subo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gestalt Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or expected savings resulting from your use of or inability to use Subo.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for intent, gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
Your continued use of Subo after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms of Use, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by Dutch law, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in the Netherlands, unless applicable mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.
